Aims and objectives 

The objective of this course is to provide a general understanding of the transnational social and political dynamics that make up “Europe” as a specific polity and at the same time account for its close connection with international economic and political networks and fields. 

Drawing from political science, political economy and sociology, the course will go through contemporary debates and controversies in a large variety of sectors, within and outside the European Union. In doing so, we also hope to bring students to practice “Political Science English” and strengthen their oral and written skills.
