Ecological approaches to art requires linking relationally, considering local practices in terms of their implications elsewhere, and vice versa; and taking into account the interconnections between beings, places, and materials. By drawing on theoretical texts and organizing visits and guest lectures, the seminar explores the work of artists who, through the processes, representations, and relationships they create and engage with, shape unique relationships with the world: sensory regimes, distinct economies, specific materials, and modes of production, presentation, and transmission.
