Dear M2 IMCDS,
our second session together is scheduled this coming Thursday and, as Ms Ramdani probably already told you a month ago, it's been extended by 40 minutes (from 2pm to 5:40pm instead of 2pm-5pm) to start catching up on the missing session from 18 September (strike and demonstration...). I promise we will take a coffee break in the middle. Venue/site: Broca B03 if I'm not mistaken.
The other sessions will take place on Thursday 11 December 2pm-5:40pm, Thursday 18 December 2pm-5:40pm and finally Thursday 15 January from 2pm to 6pm.
I know it's been a long time since we last saw each other, but because we have so few sessions, it would be nice if the groups of students scheduled for "Breaking News" (Joana, Celia and Mahélène) and for Sales "Pitch" (Hivan, Anaïs and Maddy) could do it on Thursday this week. To be reminded what to do, you can check again the introductory slides on our EPI.
"Breaking news" is only 2/4 minutes per student to share some recent news with an economic/business/money angle, and "Sales Pitch" is 2/4 minutes trying to sell anything (you decide which product or service that is, real or fictional) to us by pitching it effectively in a funny or serious way. Remember: don't read a text throughout; I need this to be your English. Questions from audience or myself might follow, so be prepared and get to know the material (please don't let an AI do the job entirely for you, it usually shows and I would be annoyed).
