Dear Students,
Somewhat late, I am writing to you to say briefly what needs to be done for the group presentations.
1/ the presentations should include:
- information about the economic structure of the country you are presenting: basic demographic info, basic economic info, the main economic sectors, and exports, the main economic areas, and a brief word about how these have evolved in recent decades.
2/ a brief history of the political organisation of the country you are presenting, and its origins in recent times. When did the present organisation/regime start?
3/ What are the main macroeconomic challenges at present?
4/ What are the country's main economic interactions with the rest of the world at present? How does it situate itself in the present disruptions to globalisation?
A short word on main attractions to see and savour :-)
These are the main points. Please prepare a PPT, and print it out (four slides per page). Provide a short accompanying text (no more than 1,000 words - in your own words :-))
Keep you presentation to 15-20 minutes!!!
