Dear students,
I hope you are all well.
In anticipation of the blockade of the Censier campus tomorrow, I have decided to cancel tomorrow's class.
As I will also be unable to teach on October 22 (Week 6) due to an academic conference, we will not meet again until November 5 (Week 7). Depending on how the current social movement develops, this session will take place either in person or on Zoom.
On November 5, we will need to catch up with our semester schedule. We will therefore have four student presentations (originally scheduled for Weeks 4 and 5 on Green Technocracy and Mainstream Economy). Each presentation will last 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for clarification questions and 10 minutes of additional input from me.
On Week 8 (November 12), we'll have again four presentations (from week 6 and 7 on the Green State and Fossil Capital). On Week 9 (November 19), we'll catch up with the schedule and have the presentations from Week 8 and 9 on Fossil Capital II and Climate Geoeconomics).
I know this is a demanding schedule, but I am confident that we can make it work with everyone's cooperation.
Best regards,
Marius Bickhardt
PS: Please sign up for the presentations, there are still some slots missing. Please make groups of three persons. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DxijxDyUbNihPPY-3xMx6w9dlBoofAy2papBerFij6g/edit?tab=t.0
