Dear students,
As I am not yet certain whether tomorrow’s microeconomics class will be able to take place in person, I would like to suggest the following arrangement.
To ensure continuity in our teaching, I propose that we adopt a flipped classroom approach. I have uploaded two course handouts covering the topics we are due to study tomorrow, in the section entitled “Resources for Flipped Classroom – Course Part 2 – Sessions 7 to 12.”
Please read Handout 1 (pp. 1–5) and Handout 2 (pp. 17–23). The other pages in these handouts contain some useful background material that may help you understand the topics. Please feel free to refer to them as needed.
Tomorrow’s session will therefore be organised around your questions.
At the end of this message, you will find the permanent Zoom link, which you can use to join the remaining six class sessions.
I would kindly ask you to turn your cameras on during the class, as there is nothing more disheartening for a teacher than to be faced with a screen full of black boxes!
