Eamonn Butler, Public Choice - A Primer, Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), 2012. This is a good introductory summary of Public Choice Theory.  The IEA was one of Britain's leading think-tanks in policy debate which took place during the 1970s and that nutured the subsequent policies of the Thatcher and Major governments (1979-1997). It was set up in 1955 by the businessman Antony Fisher at the suggestion of Friedrich v. Hayek. During the 1970s, the IEA acted as an outlet for work by Milton Friedman, Hayek and other liberal thinkers.
