Marks for S2 2025-2026
There are 3 marks in the semester:
1/ Anyone applying for a university in the UK (maybe the US) must do this exercise, to explain their fundamental motivations, why they are choosing a particular degree and how this fits in with their long-term plans. Prepare this, to write the statement in class under test conditions. 25% of the total mark
2/ later in the semester, there will group presentations for you to make. 25%
3/ the final test/exam in the last week of term. 50% (Come even if you are on a stretcher.)You also have other English material available on these EPIs:
1/ https://cours.univ-paris1.fr/fixe/english-shared-resources: this is a generalist Epi with lots of different subjects. The exercises are a bit similar, but there is quite a lot of variety.
