Before you start attending conferences and searching for a job, you need to advertise yourself ! First, publish official working papers (in the CES series for instance, contact: lucie.label@univ-paris1.fr). Then, create your webpage:
Google Site is widely used by the research community
You may also use Twitter (X) to follow research news and advertise your own work.
Conferences & Workshops
It is important to attend and present at workshops and conferences to create your network and to get feedback on your work. In addition of presenting regularly in the seminar series of your research group, we recommend that you attend at least one workshop or conference per year, starting from the second year of your PhD. To cover your costs, you can request funding to the Doctoral School or/and to your research group.
