Dear students,
In order to celebrate the first year of the Bachelor in Economics, we have organized a special lecture at the historic site of the Sorbonne with a distinguished guest.
This Saturday morning, in one of the most beautiful amphitheatres of the Sorbonne — the Amphithéâtre Richelieu — we will have the pleasure of hosting Professor of Economics at the Harvard Kennedy School, Celestin Monga.
Date: Saturday, March 14
Time: 10:00 – 12:00
Location: Amphithéâtre Richelieu, Sorbonne Center
17 rue de la Sorbonne, 75005 Paris
Professor Monga is an internationally recognized development economist who has held leading academic and policy positions around the world, including at Harvard University, the World Bank, and the African Development Bank (BAD).
During this session, he will share insights from his career and discuss key questions in development economics, drawing on his experience working on economic policy and development challenges across different regions of the world.
Moreover, Celestin has been collaborating with our department for the past 10 years, and the lecture will also be an opportunity to celebrate this 10th anniversary.
I hope to see many of you on this occasion.
